So, tell us what you have been up to and find others you know on this site to reconnect with old friends - and I use the term "old" loosely!
To practice what we preach, we will start out with what we have done for the past 20 years. Like many of you, we left Nashville after graduation. Rob knew he was going to attend law school but I had no idea what to do with my geology (!) degree. I worked in the public affairs department of a bank until Rob's graduation from SMU Law. We then moved to Fort Worth were we have been ever since. Rob is a partner with the law firm of Cantey & Hanger and has been with the firm for 17 years and I have done various things but now own two businesses that I really enjoy: www.putnamhouse.net and www.nelleandlizzy.com.
We have three boys ages Miller (12), Jack (10), and Wyatt (8) who keep us extremely busy. We never knew baseball had so many games and practices! They are great and they love watching Vanderbilt basketball (until the Siena game!).
We have a great Reunion planning committee. Clay and Jayne Ann (Waggenor) Milling are heading up the fundraising committee, Mike and Anne (Helms) Marino are in charge of the attendance and John and Courtney (Cranz) Madden are planning a great weekend of events for us. If you would like to help on any of the committees, we would LOVE to have you be a part of the planning. Just contact us at robandpage@sbcglobal.net and we will put you to work!
So far our tenative plans for Reunion Weekend are as follows:
Friday, October 24th. There will be lots of day activities leading up to our class party that evening but none are set in stone yet...so stay tuned for the mailings from Vanderbilt for more details. On Friday evening we will have our all-class party on the Vanderbilt campus. SATCO will be catering this fun-filled, casual evening so come and enjoy a fajita while catching up with everyone.
Saturday, October 25th. The Reunion Office is busy planning more activities but be sure and buy tickets to see the Commodores take on Duke! Following the game, it is our hope that everyone will make plans with friends to have dinner and then meet up for another gathering off-campus that night. Cardin (Wyatt) Bradley and Lisa (Lloyd) Hamlin are heading up the evening's activities and we will be sure to pass on the details once they are finalized.
We hope you have made your reservations for Reunion! If not, we would encourage you to do that as soon as possible as many of the hotels are already booked. You can use the links on the Vanderbilt Reunion website to help you in your search for a hotel, or for any questions you have regarding Reunion. That address is: www.vanderbilt.edu/alumni/reunion. Thanks for participating and we really hope to see you in October!!!

Hey Class of 88 -
We're getting excited about our Big 20th Reunion!!! Hope to see all of you there. Also, we're starting the fundraising for our class, so be sure to give back, too.
Clay and I have been in Atlanta since 1991. Clay is practicing law and we are having fun raising two boys - Clay (11) and Will (8). Lots of sports & activities!!
Clay's great law school professor and friend, Nick Zeppos, was just chosen as the new chancellor. This is exciting for Vandy!
We had fun watching Vandy basketball this season! See you at Reunion!
Clay & Jayne Ann Waggener Milling
Hi all! Unfortunately we won't be making it to Nashville for reunion this year, but I am hoping that more people post on the blog so I don't completely miss out on what everyone has been up to!
After graduation I was lucky enough to attend VU Law with Clay Milling, where I met my husband, Todd. After practicing law in Dallas, D.C. and Maryland, we moved to La Jolla, California, where we live with our three kids - Mitchell (7), Margo (6) and Maddie (4). We love living here and have even met a few Vandy alums in the area!
I chat with B.A. Vadnais Dickie, Joan Pedley (who I saw in NYC last year) and Lee Ricker Folsom a couple of times a year if I'm lucky, and all seems wonderful. We are also lucky enough to see Clay and Jayne Ann when work "drags" Clay to San Diego.
We, too, are so proud to have Nick Zeppos as the new Chancellor of VU! He is an amazing teacher, leader and friend, and I have no doubt Vandy will soar with him at the helm. He has so many innovative, great ideas, especially with regard to the freshman experience. I can't wait to see all the changes come to fruition!
I hope Reunion is great fun and we are bummed we won't be there. Have a great time!
